Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education is preparing to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2025 from seven of its schools, honoring students who embodied the values of excellence, resilience, and leadership.

Ahead of the ceremony, school leaders expressed their pride in the graduates, commending their academic and personal achievements, and congratulating them on reaching this milestone, one that marks a significant step in their educational journey.

Mehdi Benchaabane, Executive Director of Qatar Foundation IB Schools, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of this year’s graduating class at Education City High School, for all they’ve achieved, the strength of their character, and the remarkable way they’ve grown into thoughtful and driven individuals.

“As the first group to learn and lead from our new campus, they seized every opportunity to excel academically and take part in meaningful, transformative experiences.

“Throughout the year, they’ve shown quiet determination in doing what’s right, bold thinking in imagining new possibilities, and a sincere commitment to lifting others up in everything they do. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, I have every confidence they will continue to lead with integrity, courage, and compassion.”

Samah Ghanem, Principal of Senior School at Qatar Academy Al Khor (QAK): “This graduating class will always hold a special place in my heart. They started this journey with me during my very first year as principal at QAK, and together, we’ve navigated a time filled with transitions, growth, and discovery.

“Throughout it all, they have demonstrated remarkable resilience, courage, and a strong desire to better themselves and their community. I’ve witnessed their transformation into thoughtful, capable, and principled young adults, and I have every confidence that they will face the future with the same strength, integrity, and determination they’ve shown here.”

Jameel Katem Al-Shammari, General Director of Qatar Leadership Academy (QLA), said“We are extremely proud of this year’s graduates from Qatar Leadership Academy. With their leadership spirit and dedication, they have truly embodied the core values upon which the Academy was founded and have distinguished themselves throughout their educational and community journey.

Their graduation marks a significant milestone, celebrating years of personal growth, academic excellence, and leadership, all reflecting our vision of preparing the leaders of tomorrow. We are confident they will carry forward the values of discipline, honor, and knowledge.

Al-Shammari also noted that this year was marked by inspiring achievements and innovative initiatives led by the students, demonstrating their readiness to make a meaningful impact on their community.

We congratulate our graduates and their families, and we wish them a bright future in which they contribute actively to the service of their nation, Qatar,” he said.

Bedriyah Itani, Director of Qatar Academy Al Wakra (QAW), said: “I’m incredibly proud of our students for truly embodying the vision of Qatar Academy Al Wakra, serving as role models of ethical integrity, academic excellence, and purposeful engagement within their community.

Their commitment, resilience, and strong sense of responsibility are a true reflection of what it means to be a QAW student. As they graduate, they leave behind a legacy of values-driven leadership and a standard for future classes to aspire to.”

William Vue, Director of Awsaj Academy, said: “We couldn’t be prouder of the Awsaj Academy Class of 2025. These students have not only embraced but fully embodied the core values that define our school, perseverance, service, and personal growth.

“Throughout their time with us, they’ve shown remarkable resilience, rising above challenges and turning them into opportunities for learning and leadership. They’ve contributed meaningfully to their school and wider community, always striving to make a positive impact.

“Their journey is a powerful reflection of our mission at Awsaj Academy: to empower young people to grow into confident, thoughtful, and capable individuals who are prepared to face the future with purpose.

“As they take their next steps beyond our campus, we are confident they will continue to carry these values with them, leading, inspiring, and making a difference wherever life takes them.”
