Qatar CSR Summit 2025 all set to kick off on April 28
The details were revealed in a press conference hosted by the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University and attended by the Dean of the College and Chair of the Conference Steering Committee, Prof. Rana Sobh, President of Mubadara for Social Impact, Dr Saif Ali Al-Hajri along with several representatives of the event’s partners and sponsors. In her statement, Prof. Rana Sobh announced that this year’s edition will focus on the intersection of sustainability and digital innovation, particularly in response to the challenges faced by businesses in an ever-evolving global landscape. She highlighted that the integration of advanced technologies into responsible business practices is now more critical than ever. “This year’s theme, Sustainability in the Digital Age, underscores the growing importance of integrating digital technologies into responsible business practices,” she said. “From AI-powered sustainability solutions to tech-enabled circular economy models, the event will highlight how organizations can leverage the power of technology to create lasting social, environmental, and economic impact. It will also feature a rich agenda of panel discussions, informative interventions, and workshops led by distinguished academics and professionals from top business schools worldwide, alongside representatives from local and international institutions.”
Sobh pointed out that: “the participating entities include a wide array of academic and humanitarian institutions and bodies. Among the key collaborators is the Academic Partner, the MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability (MEBAS), which was launched by the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University, and includes 15 accredited business schools from the region, the Global Partner, UNESCO, the Knowledge Partner, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and others. In addition to that, we are expecting a significant attendance of many professionals and specialists from various universities across the Gulf region and the Middle East.”

As one of Mubadara for Social Impact’s core initiatives, Qatar CSR Summit 2025 is part of the 12th Qatar CSR National Program. As in previous years, this year’s program will also include, alongside the conference and exhibition, the annual Qatar CSR National Report and the prestigious Qatar CSR Awards. Mr. Jack Saba, General Manager of Mubadara for Social Impact announced that the official Qatar CSR Awards Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of April 30 at the Ritz-Carlton Doha. Saba noted that the organizing committee received nearly 140 award ssubmissions, out of which 40 winners will be selected to be recognized across various categories, alongside the Summit’s partners and sponsors.
