1. Sealine Beach, Located in Mesaieed: 

How to get there: In the southern part of Qatar, Sealine Beach is 40 40-minute drive away from Doha city and 35 minutes from the Doha International Airport.

2. Dukhan Beach

How to get there: Dukhan Beach in Ad Dawhah has its nearest bus stop at Ajwa Centre, and the closest metro station in Doha is Souq Waqif.

How to get there: Hiring a taxi makes it easy to reach Umm Bab Beach, located approximately 80 km from Doha.


Umm Bab Beach, situated on the tranquil western coast of Qatar, approximately 80 kilometres from Doha, offers a serene escape from the urban hustle and bustle. This hidden gem is nestled amidst imposing rocks and dunes and provides a welcome reprieve from the city’s frenetic pace. 


The name “Umm Bab,” meaning “Mother of the Gate” in Arabic, retains its natural charm. The beach appeals to nature enthusiasts and those seeking untouched beauty. Umm Bab Beach remains a cherished destination for its allure and ambience, attracting visitors seeking respite and rejuvenation.


The water near Umm Bab Beach is not too deep and is good for swimming, wading, and checking out fish with a snorkel. If you are not into water activities, you can just chill at Umm Bab Beach. You can lie in the sun, picnic, or enjoy the quiet. There are a few palm trees for shade when the sun gets too hot. 


6. Alwakrah Beach 

How to get there: The beach is approximately 30 km from central Doha via Ras Abu Abboud Expressway.
