Old Doha Port Organizes First Edition of Old Doha Port Fishing Competition in Collaboration with Katara Cultural Village
Doha, Qatar – 15 May, 2024 – Old Doha Port calls on all fishing enthusiasts in Qatar to participate in Old Doha Port’s first Fishing Competition of the year, organized in collaboration with Katara Cultural Village’s Beach Management.
Scheduled on Friday, May 31st, 2024, at Containers Yard, participants will get a chance to show off their fishing skills for a chance to win prizes totaling up to 100,000 Qatari Riyals distributed amongst the first 10th place winners.
To register for the competition, applicants must be of Qatari nationality. Each team can have one GCC national and Qatar resident. All teams and participants are required to provide all necessary safety and security documentation to ensure their boats adhere to Old Doha Port’s safety practices.
